Posts Coming Soon

Yes, I know it's been a while...and I'm sure there are a few people wanting to see pictures. I promise I will have some up soon. I am waiting on one thing before I post pictures of our trip to the Huntsville, AL area to visit our friends, The Hawkins. I really don't want to post pictures of their kids unless they say it's ok, so I'm waiting to see what they say.

There are some really good pictures that Brian took of Connor (and I editted a bit) that I think are pretty awesome...just to show that when he puts his mind to it, he CAN take good pictures. I think he would just rather have me do it. :-)

For now, the boys are doing well. Austin is loving pre-school. He is going to be doing lunch bunch tomorrow, so he'll stay for a lunch that we pack, a movie with rest time, and I think a little playtime until 2pm. I'm using the extra time to do a little housework...hopefully! We've had a few problems with his attitude the last few days, but I'm sure he'll snap out of it fairly quickly.

Colten WAS sleeping great! He slept like a champ while we were visiting Brian and Colleen and we loved it! He was sleeping 12 hours at night with a nursing session around 10 or 11pm. Then he'd wake up around 6:30 for the day. Naps were really good as well, with at least an hour each time...sometimes more. However, once we got back, he just never really got back into that groove. One night I got about 4 hours of broken sleep. He's been waking up at 5:30 ready for the day to start. Which, in turn, really messes with his naptimes. However, he's still getting the sleep he needs...it's just a little wonky and not at ALL the wake-up time Brian and I would like to see! :-) I hope that he gets back on a good schedule soon. We are definitely working on it!

Brian is in the middle of his 2 classes this term. He's doing really well and has all As so far. This term ends mid-October and he'll have one class next term. He's really looking forward to Razorback Football games. He has our tickets (he gets 2 for a dollar each) and we've discussed who gets to go with him on what game. No, I'm not going with him every game...we just don't want to pay for a babysitter almost every weekend for HOURS on end. Austin gets to go to one game, I am going to a game (probably in Little Rock) and John is going to a game or two.

I am still having fun with our playgroup. Yes, we go for me just as much as we go for Austin! I love the girls in the group and laugh so much while we watch the kids play. It really is a good group of women...and each is so different and has something to add to the group. There's a lot of women that are members of the group, but there is definitely the constant group that has a lot of fun! I am also enjoying pre-school as well! It's nice to drop Austin off at school and know that he's having fun while I get a little break from having 2 kids. ;-) The only thing is that it's already like pulling teeth to get anything that they did out of the kid! He already uses the phrase, "I don't know," way too often in regards to what they did in school. Does it really start this soon?

Hope you enjoyed this update...I promise to get pictures up soon.
