Today I am thankful for the kid-friendly apps on my new(ish) iPhone. I can't even tell you how many times it has helped divert Colten's attention or helped beat the boredom that always goes with doctor appointments, grocery store trips and other places that parents dread taking their kids to.
A couple of the apps have no educational value whatsoever, but those are still fun and keeps the kids laughing. The apps I really like are the apps that teach something or review things the kids already know.
One more thing that I am thankful for is the Otter Box that protects my iPhone when the kids have their grubby, destructive little hands on it! I know that they are able to play and that my phone will still be relatively safe.

New App suggestion! Weet Woo. It's the #1 kid app. It has tons of shows and videos all free after you purchase it. I think it's 3.99. Unfortunately, I found out about it exactly 1 day after I paid 14.99 for 1 Wiggles video download from itunes. Ugh. I will never pay for another kid show!
